Over many years, Marc worked to support the redevelopment of the ZAC Howald.
He was the spokesperson when an additional 32.5 million euros were approved for the development of the Pôle d’échange at the Howald peripheral station and for the expansion of the tram network. This has marked a milestone in public transport, he explains.
A continuing focus of commitment for the former mayor of the municipality of Hesperange remains the Hesperange bypass.
In Parliament, he spoke about various investments in the rail network:
This government is investing a great deal of money in the country’s future, he stresses. 5.2 billion euros are being channelled into good, attractive mobility: 4.77 billion euros will be invested in rail infrastructure between 2026 and 2040, as well as in station security, with additional staff to improve passenger safety.
In addition, Bettembourg station is being completely renovated and the new rail line to Bettembourg is set to go into service during 2027.
Marc also represented the CSV position in the area of air traffic security:
An EU directive has been implemented to store radio communications and background
conversations in the Findel control tower.
Marc will also take on issues relating to municipal and urban development.
