The World Climate Conference is an important meeting for him. He views it critically that the high expectations for COP30 were disappointed.
The other topics—nature, biodiversity and desertification—would deserve more attention.
Important priorities can also be set in cooperation and development policy , in education, in building democracy and in climate change, according to his credo.
As the CSV spokesperson for the poorest in society, he approved the national poverty plan.
The alderman for schools in Luxembourg City also often speaks on school activities:
Free, happy and strong children should also be allowed to be children – leisure activities outside primary school are important. He is concerned about violence in schools, on which he has initiated a parliamentary debate.
Paul will place the emphasis on the National Climate Plan and the social compensation measures linked to the CO2 tax.
