Access for farmers and winemakers to certain grants was improved.
In the field of culture, she gave her approval to various laws:
Practical and pragmatic changes to the Heritage Protection Act, under which the state now covers the costs of preventive excavations and there are administrative simplifications.
Until 2030, the Film Fund is allocated a financial envelope of 180 million euros. This concerns culture and entertainment, but also the image of the country and economic diversification.
The cultural sector is developing rapidly, and it is important to have accurate data. That is why a “Culture Observatory” has now been set up. This makes it possible to identify needs, shortcomings and strengths more clearly.
There were also legislative improvements in digitalisation:
The state can now provide targeted assistance to network operators to bring communications networks even to very remote places.
Everyone should be able to have fast internet access.
The electronic signature was introduced for all administrative acts, including between institutions.
Research and Uni.lu, administrative simplification and wineg rowing are close to Octavie’s heart.
