PARLIAMENTARY WORK
The pension reform was prepared over 18 months through broad consultation. The aim was to develop a common baseline that makes it possible to strike a balance between security, the system’s viability, and the
preservation of its social foundations.
Françoise was rapporteur for these measures:
The required length of insurance periods is slightly and gradually increased in certain cases
Years of study are credited more flexibly
In the private sector, the option of a phased retirement pension is introduced
Contributions are increased by half a percentage point for employees, the state, and employers alike
There are also reforms in the health sector, for which Françoise was spokesperson:
So-called nicotine pouches are not banned, but regulated. The nicotine content is limited, sales to minors are prohibited, and the market is monitored
The law on hospital planning provides for 200 additional beds
Hospitals can now also carry out minor procedures in dermatology and ophthalmology in their additional spaces for outpatient care
She has also often taken the floor in parliament:
On the impact of climate change on the world of work
On the National Health Plan Françoise will be particularly committed to preserving the solidarity-based healthcare system.
